Overview

  • Deliver consistent, top-notch service in a safe and secure cabin, ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort at all times.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assume all duties of the In-flight Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.

  • Assist and collaborate with the In-flight Manager on cabin crew training in coordination with the Training and Quality departments.

  • Provide a supervised training line for new cabin crew members as required, ensuring proper onboarding.

  • Ensure all training sessions, both internal and external, are conducted within the designated timeframes.

  • Benchmark industry best practices to ensure company training programs meet high standards of excellence.

  • Conduct Cabin Crew Line/Route Checks alongside other Check Cabin Crew, as necessary, to assess performance and compliance.

  • Coordinate with the In-flight Manager regarding results from ground training and line checks, as well as crew performance.

  • Maintain and update accurate training records for all cabin crew members.

  • Ensure adequate availability of instructors and line trainers, coordinating their schedules as needed.

  • Assist in maintaining consistency within the In-flight department, fostering alignment across teams.

  • Coordinate with the In-flight Manager on monthly departmental meetings to discuss training, performance, and improvements.

  • Other duties as assigned by the In-flight Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a natural flair for hospitality.

  • Valid CMC (Cabin Crew Member Certification).

  • Completed Line Supervised Training as Lead Crew.

  • Completed Route Proficiency Check/Line Check.

  • Strong knowledge of KCARs and compliance procedures.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to listen and support team members.

  • Safety-focused, with a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.

  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the job.

  • Proficient in computer skills and experienced in writing and presenting reports.

  • Thorough knowledge of relevant cabin crew inflight procedures and industry best practices.

Education Required:

  • Diploma or a University graduate

  • Aviation First Aid Training

  • Cabin Crew CRM Training.

Experience Required:

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen.

  • Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Lead Cabin Crew in the aviation, hospitality, and tourism industry.

  • Customer service environment is desirable with a natural flair for hospitality.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Minimum age of 21 and above.

  • Minimum arm reach of around 173 cm (about 5 feet 8 inches) .

  • Excellent health and fitness .
