748 Air Services (K) Ltd is an aviation company that holds an Air Operator Certificate and an imbedded Aircraft Maintenance Organization; both authorized by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority.
Since its inception, 748 Air Services (K) Ltd has grown into one of the most reliable airlines in the region, catering to the humanitarian sector, natural resource sector and government institutions. We lead the flock, with expedient delivery of cargo to remote destinations, or comfortable and safe transportation of passenger delegations and VIPs.
We pride ourselves as experts in providing first-class services in third world conditions. Hence, we are currently operating from Kenya (Nairobi), Somalia (Mogadishu), Uganda (Entebbe),
South Sudan (Juba), Democratic Republic Of Congo (Goma, Kinshasa Kalemie, Kananga), Central African Republic (Bangui), Niger (Niamey) Chad (N'Djamena).
OUR HISTORY
Over 30 years ago in Kenya’s Northwestern Town Of Lokichogio, 748 Air Services (K) Ltd was launched in support of UN “Operation Lifeline Sudan” in response to a devastating war-induced famine and other humanitarian consequences of the Second Sudanese Civil War between the Sudanese government and South Sudanese rebels.
The mission was to deliver Humanitarian Air Services to all civilians in need, regardless of their location or political affiliation. The first aircraft utilized for this mission was a Hawker Siddeley 748 workhorse, which was both a passenger and freighter aircraft. 748 Air Services (K) Ltd acquired its name from the Hawker Siddeley 748 aircraft.
Drawing on years of experience, innovative new ideas, solid values and unsurpassed quality control, 748 Air Services (K) Ltd, has grown from an initial single plane cargo operation to a more complex passenger/cargo service enterprise that touches and enhances the life of many.
