Ahmed Rashid Jibril

Ahmed Rashid Jibril is the Chairman for 748 Air Services Ltd. He has been actively involved in the operations and expansion of 748 Air Services Ltd, since its founding in 1994. As Managing Director, he developed and implemented all major strategic initiatives, which led to the growth of the company from one 748 Hawker aircraft to the current fleet of 11 aircraft made up of Dash 8-400, Dash8 -100 and Cessna caravans.

Ahmed is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Canada. He is also a member of Institutes of Public Accountants of Kenya and founding member of the Association of Financial Analysts of Kenya.

He graduated at the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. He is married to Farah Mohammed and blessed with four children.

Moses Kamae Mwangi

Moses Mwangi is a highly motivated expert in aviation finance and management who holds an MBA from Edinburgh business school in UK. He is a certified public accountant with a current practicing certificate. He is also an alumnus of Harvard business school’s advance management program.

Moses has a proven leadership portfolio having worked as CFO and CEO for different aviation companies in East Africa. He is passionate about the Aviation Industry and a go getter with notable accomplishments in the 38 years he has worked with the aviation and manufacturing industries.

Rashid Abdi

Rashid has a wealth of experience in Senior Management having served in the Government as well as an International NGO for more than two decades. His knowledge and experience in the NGO world makes him an asset to the company towards delivery of services to the Humanitarian sector. He is highly skilled in building client relationships having worked as marketing manager for 748 Air services for 9 years.

Rashid is able to ensure consistency of service delivery and is very competent in developing new business clienteles.

Fahim Hussein Mohamed

Captain Fahim Mohammed is a graduate with an associate degree in Aeronautical sciences, from community college in Portland, Oregon, USA. He holds a commercial pilot’s license from FAA and is a flight instructor CFI, CFII, MEI from Hillsboro Aviation in Portland. He also holds a Kenyan ATPL and is rated on different aircrafts with over 9000 flight time hours. He also acts as the company’s line pilot and training captain on our Dash 8 fleet.

He is very adept in the aviation industry and possesses technical skills with over 15 years working experience.

Jeff Dusang

Jeff is a pilot by profession with over 30 years aviation experience. He is a qualified simulator and ground school instructor. He has a total of 8,000 aircraft hours and 20,000 hours of total simulator for Dash-8/100/200/300/400. He holds FAA and Transport Canada pilot certificate for Dash 8 type series, FAA ground instructor certificate and advanced instrument instructor certificate. He was a designated Training center Evaluator (T.C.E) at flight safety for many years on all Dash – 8 aircraft.

Jeff is an accomplished simulator lesson plan developer who managed to develop simulator lesson plan for airline and air service companies. He has also worked for a few regional airlines and Flight Safety in Canada.

Marius Vosloo

Marius is an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who holds an SACAA AME license. He has completed several Maintenance Type Courses and is rated on B737, B747-200/300/COMBI/ SP, DHC 8-300 Series, CRJ 200 ER Airframe, and JT9D-7R4/7Q/7F, PWC 120 Series, PWC PT6A Series and GE CF32-3B1 Engines.

He has a wealth of knowledge in Aircraft Maintenance and over 20 years of experience in Quality Assurance, having worked for companies such as; Solenta Aviation in South Africa, Air Service Gabon and South African Airways. Marius previously held the position of director of Maintenance at 748 Air Services.

Peter van de Sande

Peter is a licensed aircraft engineer with over 45 years’ experience. He is rated to maintain various aircraft such as Dash 8 Series, Embraer, Cessna caravans, Beech Craft among others. He has undergone immense training in different courses in engineering from different institutions such as Blake, Embraer, Standard Aero, Shape Aviation, Nigel Bauer and JAA Netherlands.

Peter is extremely experienced having worked for different entities across the globe such as; Avisense BV, SCD Aviation, Air Service, DAC Aviation and ALS Ltd, in different capacities.

Mahamud Tawane

Tawane is a licensed engineer and rated on different types of aircraft such as Dash 8 Series and Fokker 50. He is highly qualified and knowledgeable due to numerous courses he has undertaken on engineering such as Quality Management in Airline Operations, Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Management, Line maintenance course among others.

He has over 20 years of experience in maintenance having worked for major aviation companies like Kenya Air Force, Blue Bird Aviation and ALS Ltd. Tawane is currently undertaking his Masters in Air Transport Management at the City University of London.

Mariane Vosloo

Mariane initially trained as a professional nurse, but due to her passion for quality health care delivery she became part of the team at Arwyp Medical Centre whom in 2000 attained ISO 9001 Certification through the external certification body, Bureau Veritas, which gave them the bragging rights as the first private hospital in the southern hemisphere to achieve this certification. Later as the Quality Manager she became involved in project management and occupational health and safety.

She is very passionate about quality service delivery and safety. In 2012 she successfully implemented the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System at 748 Air Services, and with her vast knowledge and experience she assisted in the design and development of electronic stock control system and flight quotation system for 748 Air Services. She is well versed with policy development and implementation. She is a pacesetter with a fanatical attention to detail.

Safiya Idd

Safiya is a member of Institute of Human Resource Management and a graduate of Makerere University Business School. She is currently pursuing a professional certificate in Human Resource Management from the Human Resource Management Professional Examinations Board (HRMPEB).

She is well versed in policy formulation, design and delivery of efficient and effective HRM systems, processes and practices as well as management and development of people.Safiya boasts over 5 years of experience in HR and 2 years in Financial Management.
